Ar-Ar wakes up and beats his chest with his hooves.
“Today I want to read a book.”
Bobo takes off his glasses.
“Books are no good for donkeys.”
“Then why are they good for you?”
The crow puffs up its feathers.
“Because I can fly.”
“Maybe I can fly too when I’ve read a book.”

It is anyone’s guess whether you’ll be able to fly after reading SAID’s surreal tale. What is sure, though, is that this poetic text, combined with Christian Röckl’s expressive illustrations, will lend wings to your imagination and take you off to meet a donkey who refuses to let convention restrict his horizon.
