Nicole Riegert, born in 1980, studied Book Art/Graphic Design at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig, where she continued in the postgraduate master classes program.
In 2004/5 she interned at the Spanish graphic agency El golpe. Cultura del entorno, in Seville. At present, she works as a freelance illustrator in publishing.
