Mirjam Zels was born in Regensburg in 1989 and grew up in Dresden.
She received her professional training as an illustrator and as a graphic designer in Nuremberg, Hamburg and in Tel Aviv. She works as a freelance illustrator in Hamburg – when she is not out and about travelling around the world.
Fast wie Freunde/Just Like Friends is her second children’s book.
