Haven’t been here in a while…

Johannes Vogt’s quirky community of roommates invites visitors to come take a look at their living quarters. Don’t be afraid of unknown beings, draughty corners and creatures who believe they’re someone else!

Mushrooms, animals, and plants
Molecules doing their dance,
Higgs Boson, the oscillator,

Ducts alive with energies,
inspiration and degrees
messing with the elevator

Felicitas Horstschäfer: »I’ve been longing to realize a completely non-digital painting project again forever, and the commission I got from kunstanstifter was the perfect opportunity. The result consists of fantastical scenes in acrylics, crayons, colored and oil paint pens. To work on this, I left Berlin for the country and painted in an open barn. Sunlight and storm, trees and animals, city dwellers and creatures from the world of dreams – all of them found their way into my work. When I was done, Johannes took my pictures to the garden and added his writing. I’m happy to loan out the originals for exhibitions. «
