Verena Pavoni is a painter with an intense passion for drawing and stories. Aged 18, she published her first picture book, which promptly went on to become a bestseller. Born in 1965 and raised near Zurich, she studied at what was then the school of arts and crafts, later moving on to F&F School of Design in Zurich, adding to her education in Switzerland and abroad. Today she lives and works in Basel and Southern France.
