Sol Undurraga and Mujer Gallina, Chile.
Author, illustrator and artist. Sol has been involved in books and graphic activism for a couple of decades. She studied architecture but became fascinated with telling stories and drawing them. Her stories are based on her own biography because she feels comfortable telling her own story. She works in analogue or digital, but the ‘Chuleta fox’ decided to do it with pencils, because she wanted to be closer to the main character of the book.
Sol has received important awards and recognitions in Bologna Children’s book fair, Nami in South Korea, Guadalajara book fair and Ravens in Internationale Jugendbibliothek. Her books have been translated into more than six languages.
