Rike Drust was born in Bremen in 1975. She grew up on a farm and then went off to study, first in Münster and then in Bristol for a MSc in Women’s Studies, before settling in Hamburg.
There, she drifted into the advertising industry and still works as a freelance copywriter, alongside writing books and newspaper columns. When she isn’t enjoying the company of her husband and two children, she loves walking in the woods.
