Raffaela Schöbitz was born in 1987 in Vienna and is a freelance illustrator and author. She studied Theatre, Film and Media Studies in Vienna and then Film Studies & Art History in Berlin. She writes and illustrates children’s books and graphic novels, and has already won a number of prizes for her work.
She also does illustrations for record sleeves and magazines. She loves drawing with pencils, ink and watercolours, but she also often makes use of mixed-media collage and, most recently, digital techniques.
