Pauline Pete was born in Fulda/Hessia in 1996 and grew up in a rural area of the Rhön mountains. She started to paint and draw as a small kid and loved to listen to stories being read to her while she was doing handicrafts or illustrating what she heard. As her love for stories and books never wore off, she decided in 2017 to start studying illustration at the Hamburg University of Applied Science where she presently obtains her Master´s degree. She lives with her boyfriend Jakob and her dog Merlin in Hamburg.
