Nele Palmtag, born 1973 in Boeblingen, studied to be an Occupational Therapist before going on to study Illustration in Bremen and Hamburg.
As a free illustrator she draws and makes collages for texts of her own and by other authors. Her books have been translated into lots of different languages. In workshops she teaches children and grown-ups all about the tasks involved in making books in a fun way.
