Laura Momo Aufderhaar lives in Berlin with her child and cat. She works as a concept developer and illustrator and teaches at the summer school held at the Children’s Book House in Austria (Kinderbuchhaus Österreich). For her first book »Gerda Gelse«, she received the Austrian Children’s Book Award (Österreichischen Kinderbuchpreis) and the German Youth Literature Award (Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis).
