Malin Widén was born in 1989 and is an illustrator and cultural mediator with roots in Switzerland and Sweden. She lives in central Switzerland, where she studied Illustration Fiction and Art Teaching at Lucerne University of Applies Sciences.
Her Master’s dissertation won the Max von Moos New Talent Prize. Malin draws her inspiration from drawing with children and young adults and from long walks on the Swedish island she has visited almost every summer since she was small.
