Hanna Jung, was born in Chernowitz (Ukraine) in 1992 and was raised in the northern German city of Stade. She studied Illustration at the Berliner Technischen Kunsthochschule. She’s been based in Berlin since 2016 where she works as a freelance illustrator in the cosy group studio known as the Musenstube.
These illustrations of Heinrich von Kleist’s essay story, “On the Marionette Theatre”, which first appeared in 1810, were realised for Jung’s first university degree, dealing with the theme of natural gracefulness.
