Annegret Ritter, born in Freiberg 1964, first studied Toy Design.

After the Berlin wall came down in 1990, she turned to illustrating books, crafts, and stationary for kids. Quiosques de Lisboa is her first book featuring travel sketches, and her first book aiming at an adult readership. Working on it, she could make good use of her favorite hobbies – travelling, drawing, strolling through narrow streets, sitting in a café, reading poetry… say, is there anything better?
