The two girls in Luise Mirdita’s book keep drawing like there’s no tomorrow. Until suddenly, their pictures come to life, and they find themselves inside them! While they marvel at the world of wonder around them, they also come face to face with the monsters they’ve created. But wait a minute – what’s that crazy-colored doodle storm?

Luise Mirdita:
»I got the idea for this book when I re-discovered an old suitcase full of children’s drawings. After looking through it, I picked my favorite characters and rearranged them in new compositions. To get the effect I wanted, I made sure to emphasize the joy of experimenting, and the unaffected, creative way of thinking that we see in children. Using mixed media like colored and felt-tip pencils, collage, and digital painting, I wanted to create vibrant colors inviting everyone to smile.«
