Karen Runge studied Illustration in Groningen and Stockholm. Since 2001, she has been living and drawing in Berlin. With her illustrations, she wants to tell stories and entertain the child that lives in each one of us. She mostly works with mixed media using acrylics, colored pencils, ink, and paper cutouts.
Her work has been shown in locations including Bologna, Rome, Berlin, and Yokohama.
