Daniela Leidig is from Düsseldorf and studied Product Design in Munich, where she fell in love with her current husband. They got a taste of cosmopolitan life in Paris and Berlin, loved the mountains, and finally, pregnant with their first baby, moved back to Düsseldorf. Daniela set up a drawing school, built a chicken coop, had two wonderful children, got a dachshund and found lots of inspiration for colorful picture books. Having taught illustration and painting in the past, she now dedicates her entire professional life to creating children’s books.
